I hate Halloween. I don't know why, I just hate it. I hate the mess of the pumpkins, the candy that gets in our hair and the carpet, the sugar high, the late night, the constant ringing of the doorbell, the "not going to shares", the dress up drama, and everything else that goes along with this "holiday". It is kinda funny because with my sparkly personality, one would think I was the dress up, pumpkin party type... but nope. It just sucks. So in the spirit of all hallows eve, we took the kids trick or treating. Our neighborhood is in it's "remodeling" stage meaning we have only about 20 houses finished in the community. So we went over to Kayley's house for some hot cocoa and donuts (We were late, I tried to get in my pj's, tell Tyler I wasn't feeling well, and hop into bed... so didn't work. He said I had to "suck it up" and get dressed. I showed him and stayed in my pj's, but then it started to really rain, like Hawaii rain when it was just coming down and my slippers got so wet that I had to walk with no shoes on). Anyways, here are some pictures of the kids. They sure did like it.
